What Else are Missing?

They are out of their boxes and have new clothes but they still have something missing. They don't have a name yet! For weeks, I just keep on calling them Pullip and Taeyang. But I really suck in the name-giving department.

I originally like the names Sebastian and Aisling. But as I look for better names, I listed too many and that made it impossible for me to choose. So I asked help form HOP forum members and my friends. One of my friends said that it would be best if they'll have Japanese names since they look like anime characters. I actually like Japanese names. They are so cute.

A lot of them chose the name Kyrie. I thought about that name when I was walking going home. I really like how it sounds. But the name Kairi always reminds me or a red-haired girl for Kingdom Hearts. Good thing, in one of my searches, I found an alternative spelling which is Kyrie. ^^

My sister helped me in making the final decision for Ren's name. It was a tie between Ren and Ty (short for Tyson, Tyler...ect.). I like both names so I made her choose and she picked Ren. ^^

From then on, they were called... Kyrie and Ren. ^^

The First Photoshoot

After researching about what clothes would fit Pullips and Taeyangs, I was really eager to go to the mall and buy all the cute clothes I could find.

Luckily, the mall was having a sale so I got some clothes on a discounted price. I think I bought 3 sets of Barbie clothes and 2 sets of My Scene Boys clothes. Though, they were on sale, I still spent almost PHP2000! I really spend so much for them than for myself. But technically, I'm still bought those clothes for myself since those were for them and they are my dolls. (Do forgive me for my twisted logic. hehe~)

When I got home, I immediately changed their clothes and took their first photos out of their stocks. Here are two of their photos.

After taking their photos, my then nameless Taeyang's left arm fell! I was so shocked and I nearly cried. I didn't know what to do. I was having a hard time putting his arm back but after several tries...phew! His arm looks fine as if nothing happened.

You'll notice that Kyrie (then nameless), looks like she's staring blankly and looks like there's something wrong with her eyes. I don't know why I didn't changed the direction of her eyes. -___-

To Debox or Not to Debox?

That has been my question for almost 2 weeks after getting them. I was worried that once I removed them from their boxes, they might get dirty or they'll have an accident or some other crazy stuff that I can think of. But I wanted to make clothes for them and take their pictures of them like what I see in different forums. So, I decided to take them out from their boxes. ^^

Once I deboxed my then nameless Eternia, I immediately fell in love with her gown. I was so amazed on how detailed it was for a doll's wedding gown. She's really beautiful. I could spend the whole day just staring at her. But her hair was really messy. I had a hard time fixing it. As for my then nameless Taeyang, I really love his face. That's why I enjoyed taking his close ups. ^^
